Golden Glaze Kielbasa Bites
Ingredients:
● 1 lb kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
● 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
● ¼ cup Dijon mustard
● 3 tablespoons honey
● 1 tablespoon brown sugar
● 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
● 1 teaspoon garlic powder
● ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
● Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
● Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)
● Toothpicks for serving
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil or butter. Add kielbasa slices in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and crispy. Work in batches if needed.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using).
3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour the glaze over the browned kielbasa and stir to coat evenly. Simmer for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens and caramelizes slightly.
4. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with parsley or chives, and serve warm with toothpicks.
