Slow Cooker Bacon-Beer con Queso Dip

Ingredients
1 block (16 ounces) Our Family® Pepper Jack Cheese, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 can (14.5 ounces) Our Family® Salsa Style Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
1 bottle (12 fluid ounces) pale ale beer
1 package (8 ounces) Our Family® Plain Cream Cheese, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
1 container (8 ounces) Our Family® Original Sour Cream
1/4 (32-ounce) block Our Family® Smooth & Creamy American Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (about 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 tablespoon Our Family® Garlic Powder
6 slices Our Family® Thick Cut Premium Bacon, chopped
Sliced green onions for garnish (optional)
1 1/2 bags (12 ounces each) Our Family® Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips for serving
Directions
1. In 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, stir pepper Jack cheese, tomatoes with their juice, beer, cream cheese, sour cream, cheese spread and garlic powder; cover and cook on high 2 hours or low 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Makes about 7 cups dip.
2. In large skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until crisp, stirring occasionally; with slotted spoon, transfer bacon to paper towel-lined plate. Makes about 1/2 cup bacon.
3. Stir 1/4 cup bacon into dip; serve sprinkled with remaining 1/4 cup bacon garnished with onions, if desired, along with tortilla chips.
